Hi,

I have a me.com email address and have had for about 5 years.
In those 5 years I can count on 1 hand how many spam emails I have had
until recently.
There seems to be 2-3 a day now. does anybody know whats going on & how
to reduce/stop them.

Kindest,

Jeff

Did you post on any web site the full email addresses? Spammers use web crawlers to pluck those addresses for web posts. Plus some smaller business sell information to spammers too when the spammers dishes badly needed money their way.

When you get spam on an iCloud account (@icloud/@me/@mac) from the menu in Mail, forward it as an attachment to spam@icloud.com - Apple uses what is sent to them to update the spam filters iCloud uses.

Dealing with Spam
Here are some methods to deal with unwanted spam messages:

Turn on junk mail filtering in OS X Mail.
Mark spam messages as junk or move them to the Junk folder in webmail. These messages are automatically reported to spam@icloud.com.
