Mail stopped working

I've put most of the useful apps onto my iphone, including nes, installer, summerboard and apolloim. Today I noticed that I am unable to send mail, it just infinitely tells me its sending until I delete the mail from my outbox and restart my iphone. I am still able to receive mail though. I know it was working before I starting adding apps to it, and I still am able to both receive and send mail through my mac's mail application. Has anyone else experienced this loss of mail capabilities?
