Mail - text formatting not working

Anyone else seeing this problem. I can't change the font or text size and all stylising buttons are greyed out. Message is defiantly set to rich text.

Well it seems to have righted itself now, problem over.

No, it's not working again. Back to the drawing board. Surely someone else must have this issue, anyone???
