The same messages keep filling my inbox again and agian, even after I delete them. Why is this happening and how do I stop it? I get plenty when I am only getting one copy of each, but sometimes I have to receive and delete the same message up to 4 times befoe it quits haunting me. Any ideas?

Also, the ringer is too low. At top volume, I miss most calls.

And Safari keeps crashing, even after a restore.

Any ideas?

The mail issue can depend on a few things. Who is your mail provider?

Another question, how are you connecting to the internet? EDGE or WiFi? That can make a big difference if you are in a questionable EDGE area. I've seen if I am on a fringe EDGE network sometimes the server won't get notice that I deleted an email and so it boomerangs back to the phone. Especially emails with attachments.

Same with Safari, if your internet is touchy Safari can sometimes get touchy too. Also, what kind of sites are you visiting? Just trying to gather enough info to help troubleshoot.

Can't help with the ringer issue, that might be something to take to the Apple store.

Are you running a hacked phone?

The phone is just a phone I bought from the Apple store and connected through AT & T. In the last 2 days in addition to reloading messages I can not send mail. (this might have coincided with the restore. Any ideas on that?) Comcast is the mail server. These things happen at home with WiFi or out with Edge network. When Safari crashes it would be at one of the few websites I am on, like Yahoo, Comcast, Google or something benign like that.

Could be that the smtp settings are wrong, the password for it is wrong, firewall blocking one of the ports, etc.
