I have several Gmail accounts. Any advantage to using the IOS Gmail app, as compared to the standard Apple Mail App? Thanks.

Thanks. My question remains. Is there an advantage to using the Gmail app over the Apple Mail app?

I'd say the only advantage is push mail. I'm happy with the default fetch of mail.app which is handling Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook and Exchange accounts without difficulty. I've not tried multiple Gmail accounts but I can't see why that would be a problem. I also have a MacBook Pro and an iMac so I prefer the same mail interface (and there isn't an official/decent Gmail app for those).

I use the gmail app rather than the stock mail app because I am a heavy user of labels for my email. You have to use the gmail app if you want to apply labels to emails.

Works for me.

Apologies 2. You mean multiple labels per email. No the stock app doesn’t do that.

I’ll get my coat ...

Well mail.app doesn't push your gmail to you anymore. I switched to outlook because gmail didn't offer an option for Apple watch. Not sure if they do now but too late I love outlook for iOS.

Outlook iOS is ending soon!
