I can't seem to synchronize what I do with my email in the "Mail" application on my Mac at home, with what appears in WebMail. Does anyone know the trick to this?

For example, the folders I create through WebMail don't seem to appear in my Mail application. the folders I create in Mail don't correspond to those I see in WebMail. Emails that I thought I moved to my (local) hard drive just disappear, nowhere to be found in either location.

Also, how do you get the BCC field when composing messages in Mail? The Address book (at home computer, not through .Mac) doesn't even give you that option.

I'm sure there's a simple explanation to all of this, and I apologize for being so dense... I do hope someone can help me out.

for BBC i think it's alt B or alt shift b. or apple b or apple shift b.

unless your webmail is mac.com you will NOT have the folders in mail.app unless you create them as well there. :)

but that's the thing, I do have a Mac.com email account.

I guess I always thought that the two -- Mac.com webmail and Mail app -- were synched ... but is this not true?

i have created some folders in the webmail of mac.com and strangely i have the same folders on mail.app's mac.com accounts. do you see your mac.com mails as mac.com or pop (or imap) ? maybe it requires to be as mac.com account, not pop or others?
