I am using Apple Mail and I am having difficulty setting up my Google Apps email account. Apple Mail just won't accept it in the google place for email accounts. Does anyone know how to configure it in Apple Mail please? I could forward it but Apple doesn't give the option of replying with the name of another email address unless it's added to Apple Mail. Does anyone have an answer, please?

Under settings you can tell which mail account is the primary, that will be the from: address.

You mean add the Google Apps adress in. Will I need to do it once or all the time?

You mentioned Google APPS .. not just gmail, but the steps are probably the same:

Once you have it working.

Go to settings > mail > and at the bottom > default account > and select the google one.
