For a project of mine I am trying to figure out what programming language those guys used for their server side. I have tried to search the web for any useful info but so far, did not find any clue. It is PHP? Ruby? Java?

Did most of them use anything? I thought they all just rely on Gmail for server side stuff.

Ark do rapportive style email ..

I guess they need server side to do it, right?
So maybe the topology is Client->Gmail for emails rely and Client ->server for "extra features" on the emails?
