Boxysuite looks great and a true replacement to Mailplane. However, I'm not sure how boxysuite would be able to continue to operate if third-party web access to Gmail was blocked, just as it was for Mailplane.I'm not sure I would even pay for this service, but there's boxysuite
ah yes, of course.. aw snacks. I'll see if the devs are on twitter and then see what they write.Boxysuite looks great and a true replacement to Mailplane. Thank you!!I'll see if the devs are on twitter and then see what they write.
The issue seems to be that these apps run in an embedded web frame and that’s what is being blocked by Google when it comes to authentication.Yeah I'm not sure how these apps are going to work around the new restriction imposed by Gmail.
My biggest gripe is that Google hasn't even built a native Progressive Web App for Gmail. If you're going to hinder apps like Mailplane, at least release a native PWA! Go figure.
Good point. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it might be for the same reason that Mailplane allows users to inject custom CSS styling that also means they'll get locked out from Google's recent change. The issue seems to be that these apps run in an embedded web frame and that’s what is being blocked by Google when it comes to authentication.
