Ok, so I have calibrated the battery. And I'm sitting here with the MagSafe in and it says on OS X that it is running off of AC, but does this still go through the battery?

I guess what I am saying is- is it harmful to my battery to keep the magsafe in while the battery is fully charged if I am just sitting at my desk?

I'm pretty sure that it bypasses the battery, just getting its energy straight from the electrical socket (like a desktop). I might be (read: probably am) wrong though.

I used my old iBook almost exclusively on mains power every day for 3 years. When I sold it recently it still had 93% of the battery capacity, so no problems there. BTW, I re-calibrated the battery every couple of months.
