As a developer, I am getting really upset about this problem....

Has anyone else noticed that the sort by "Release Date" on all categories hasn't been updated on the App Store on their iPhone? For example, mine is showing the same apps day after day, with nothing new.

Even new apps that I submit and get approved aren't showing up on the list! It's causing significant financial damage to my business right now. Is Apple aware of this?

If you are also seeing this, please reply.

Yep, it seems to be broken. Not sure what the deal is.. looks like it has been this way for a while now too.

I am seeing same thing in my iPhone, I hope they resolved this quick. Have you fired a bug report to apple? Since they have been making changes on the AppStore system.

I have contacted all of the Apple news sites to try and get some awareness around this story. I've filed a bug, as many other have, and some people have called Apple over and over with no luck.

You'll see other complaints for this problem:

There was also a huge thread about this on the iPhone Dev SDK forums but those are down right now since the 3.0 release (http://devforums.apple.com/)

Maybe it's because it didn't make a huge amount of difference to me in terms of sales when I released my app. It's done pretty much the same amount of business since launch except on day one when sales were about 4x what they settled down to be. I suppose for other people the effect is more pronounced.
