I want to take advantage of this promotion but I can't go to the store til either Friday or Sat......Sat would be *MUCH* easier. Sat is the 16th and the rebate form says
"Buy a qualifying Mac and an iPod from Apple or a participating Apple Authorized Campus Reseller from June 5, 2006, through September 16, 2006 ....."
And on the website it says "purchase by the 16th" and "Hurry - offer ends 9/16"
To me that means you can still buy it on the 16th. I figured I'd call my local store (Salem NH) to be safe. They said Friday is the last day. Just out of curiosity (I have gotten bad info there before.....), I also called NYC, San Francisco, and Chestnut Hill Mass = all said Sat is the last day. I also called the rebate number and was told Sat is the last day. But then the girl asked for my name because she had to "write down that she had told me that...." which sounded a little like she was unclear. I haven't been able to call Apple sales during business hours yet......
So does anyone know the real date? It's really hard for me to go on Friday so unless I have to I'd rather not. I realize I'm being paranoid but I don't want to be stuck paying for an iPod that is supposed to be free!
