Estonian Apple news site, http://apple.spot.ee (AppleSpot), has found a major bug in the iPhone Safari application.

If you visit a website which uses Motion-JPEG technology to stream-video you'll end up with a huge phone bill from your operator. (Webcams and other video streams)
Safari wont drop the connection between your phone and the server which provides the stream. Even closing Safari won't fix the problem. The bug will use your 3G or EDGE connection to blow up your precious megabytes of data.

Our users have generated 740 megabytes of data within one hour! The Safari app was closed and the iPhone was set to sleep.

The only way we could "fix the problem" was to browse away from the website with the same Safari window you opened It with.
