There is a major issue with cinematic video where the preview looks fine while recording. However, once the video is saved the phone changes the brightness to incredibly low settings.

I will transfer the videos to my MacBook to see if the issue is the messed up HDR of iPhone 16 Pro.

Is it even possible for a beta version to have a “major issue”? 🤔 Finding things like this, is kind of the point of a beta.

I did report it but it is still not something that should be happening on such a late Public Beta release. The videos look better when viewed on a MacBook so it is something to do with the iPhone.

I've run into it as well. Seems to have something to do with when you apply edits to the clip in the photos app that breaks it.

But now in iOS 18.1b6 the clips look right even after changing exposure, so I think it's been fixed.
