OTB my iphone was 1.1.2 ( though should have been 1.1.3 but i dunno guess apple didnt have new ones shipped in yet) then using itunes i updated to 1.1.3

after that i used the ziphone and ran the Jailbreak phone

got everything up in running installer is on the home screen

however i had no sound

i restored the phone back to standard firmware via itunes and everything works fine.

HOWEVER

i really want my jailbroken phone

is there any way to get the phone to work w// sound when i use ziphone

ALSO

is there a way to unlock my OTB 1.1.2?

even if i upgraded the 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 out of the box before running ziphone??

Thats what you are supposed to do. Upgrade to 1.1.3 (thats what ziphone works on).

make sure its a fresh unjailbroken 1.1.3 also.

hmm

i still dont understand

i upgraded to 1.1.3

now is that all i do

run jailbreak + unlock

OOTB originally 1.1.2

easy fix:

Settings->General->Reset->Reset All

wait for it to reboot and your sound will be back

it's a known issue

I had the same problem and had to restore. When I went to go at it again later yesterday, I used the latest Zibri jailbreak app (The OSX GUI one) and have had absolutely zero problems since.
