Major store chain dumps Apple

Interesting article. There’s a time when everybody wanted to jump on the Apple bandwagon, now it seems the first major chain in Australia has decided they don’t want to include Apple in their stores anymore.

Goes to show how much they are starting to lose the market.

Looked at their website. The store is very similar to Kohl’s in the US.
I can see why they dumped apple.

Did they sell phones or iPads and watches?

They had Apple Stores within stores as well as selling the products. Don’t remember phones but they had watches, iPads and computers.

I was actually one of the people who originally pushed for them to be stocked as the Apple market aligned well with the Myer market and it was originally a good way to bring people in store.

There's also a host of Apple Premium Resellers closing around the world.

But in all honesty: the only reason I bought my MacBook from BestBuy was that they price-matched an online offer and I got $100 off.

If we're paying full price why not get it directly from Apple?
