Make icons smaller

1. Is there any way to make icons smaller.
2. I want to fit 5 icons in a row.

I don't want to jailbreak.
Is there an app that does that ? Or a tweak that accomplishes these 2 objectives ?

there's so much i miss about jailbreaking my phone... but so much i like about not having to deal with the issues and madness that brought. i wish apple wasn't so closed about this, and we could customize our ios devices... even a little (like having dark mode, or a custom dock, or... 5 smaller icons in a row).

am not holding my breath.
