Does Lion have a way of creating an install disc once its installed?

Not officially, but if you right click on the package installer and select "Show Package Contents" you can access the dmg and do whatever you like with it.

Or, while we're on this topic, a repair USB? (like the ones included with MBAs)

Since just posting search results has resulted in a warm debate about the efficiency of posting a thread or a 10 second search, which then resulted in deleted posts, even the ones with the search results, I just post the actual links from the search results, which can be found as appendix below the actual links. Wow, this took longer than ten seconds. Must get Shatner.

Curious: I did a disk image install onto an MBR partitioned drive, but for those who install Lion the typical way - launch the installer from inside SL - how technically does the install happen? Does the installer create the 'recovery' partition from inside SL, boot into that, and then mount the Lion disk image from the SL partition? Is the whole disk image moved to the recovery partition? Is it possible to do a 'typical' install from an MBR disk partitioned outside Boot Camp?
