this is really complicated and i don't know how to explain this fully. and before i start, i am not the webmaster of this site, although i do know him and can recommend stuff to him. and this is a .php site, and it's not built with iweb.

a problem that has concerned me for quite a while is the photo section. it's pretty basic and not how we want it to be. take a look here. http://thechopstop.com/photos.php .

what i want to see for this section is a flickr type format, where pictures can be arranged by member (currently, only me and the webmaster can upload photos), date, players, etc. we also plan to use some of the photos sitewide for the front page and player pages. i'm also hoping for captions added, and compatibly to have the full sized (or at least a 1600x1200 version of the photo) viewable from the site.

uploading photos is a pain, since you can only upload one at a time (which is bad for me as i tend to take a bunch of photos at once and like to upload a bunch at once), and we are looking for a tool that i can upload a full picture set at once, then make changes for each picture later (or vice versa). currently, we had no success, but i'm still trying.

thanks for your help. comments on the rest of the site are valued as well, as i'm thinking of some possible changes to the site.

there's no way to do this with iweb or rapidweaves, as far as I know.

you'd either need to create a custom php script or use something like: 4Images Gallery or Coppermine Photo Gallery and integrate that into your existing site

thanks.

looks like we got the problem settled, and now i can upload more than one pic at a time. thanks for your help anyway, but for the most part, the site will stay as is for a while, and no, i didn't build it, so i don't have too much of a say in the matter.

i personally haven't built a web site yet, but i'm going to try to get a couple done before the end of the summer (first one is going to be a simple one or two page site with links, second one will be more elaborate).

I was just wondering, do you know what you'll have on the pages? because I'm always looking to make sites, but never know what to put there.
