Making a slideshow

Does anyone know if it's possible to burn a slideshow with audio in iphoto to a CD/DVD?

iPhoto has the option to send things to iDVD.
I believe from there one can then burn a slideshow to a physical medium.

as i do not have iDVD installed i cannot try this, but if you do, please report back.

yep it works. i just tried it out. you go to share, send to iDVD, and it exports the slideshow with audio!

I've done that quite a bit. Lately I have needed to create them for widescreen 16x9 HD TV, so...it requires that I alter the size of every image to 854 x 480. If you don't do that, and play the dvd on an HD TV, you'll just have the black bars on each side.
