Making calls on Mac

When I use FaceTime on my Mac to make a call it transfers the call to my iPhone. Before I was able to use my Mac to listen and talk to the person. Is there a setting I have wrong or something? In the FaceTime settings I have iPhone Cellular Calls checked on both my Mac and iPhone.
