Making Fields Permanent in iCloud Contacts

I'm trying to make some of the fields in the "add field" button permanent so I don't have to click add field for every single contact. For instance, I'd like "Job Title" to be a field on every single vcard so I can add that easily.

Anyone know how to do this? I've tried everything I can think of and searched for answers as well and no luck. Thank you either way though for any input

Try this.

Go to Contacts>Card>Add Field>Edit Template(last in the list)....I know that you're doing it on your computer, but I think it affects the template in the cloud too. At least it worked for me

Unfortunately "Edit Template" is not an option for me when I try to add a field on both my iPhone directly and going into contacts through icloud.com. On my iPhone "Notes" is the last option when adding a field and on icloud.com it's "Related People".

Am I doing something wrong?

Eagle, I edited the template on my Mac Mini(Lion). Apparently that, in turn, edited my contacts in iCloud, my phone and my iPad. At least that seems to be what worked for me
