Hello All, I have a quick question and will really appreciate anyone taking time to answer so Thank You in advance.

Q: I am selling a iPad Air 2 and just want/need to make sure that if I come to the "Hello" screen when I power it on that I have successfully wiped it clean of all data, photos, contacts, settings, passwords, music, etc.? I know there is a reset option and a restore option. I saw the reset option on the iPad itself but I used the restore option in iTunes after I backed it up one last time.

Again thank you Very much for helping me out. Just want to make sure that "restore" was the correct action to take vs "reset" or.....whether they both do the same and it really makes no difference.

Either way is fine. Difference is restore will update iOS if a newer version is available.

Oh okay Great! Good to know the new owner will have the latest available version. Thank you very much!
