Finally I have arrived.....
I am trying to edit the Photoshop file (*.psd) which is linked to the InDesign file. Under CS2 InDesign, if you click "Edit Original" button in the Links pallet, *.psd file opens with Preview instead of Photoshop CS2. Does anyone know how I can change this so that it will be opened automatically by Photoshop?

I've had the same problem with opening PSD files externally through DVD Studio Pro. Anyway, you might try selecting a PSD file (any of them will work) in the Finder, control-clicking and selecting Get Info. Under "Open With" select Photoshop, then click "Change All."

In Mac OS 10.x you need to go to the file itself and "get info" then change the default program that will open it. I believe you can then choose to "open all similar" files of this type.

Hope that helps.

Scanning to Photoshop

I have a similar question but need to be able to scan to Photoshop. How do I set Photoshop as my default program to receive scans?
