iPhone Making restore to jailbroken iPhone 4 (6.1)

Hello,
My friend has an Jailbroken iPhone 4 version 6.1 and he wants to update to 7.1.
We tried some guides found on the web to make restore and every time we received the error number 3014.
If I'll try to perform a Restore from another computer that can solve the problem? Does anyone have another idea?

*he want clean iPhone without jailbreak.

Type in gs.apple.com in your address bar. If that leads you to cydia, then you'll need to fix your hosts file

Otherwise, you can try another computer and it should allow you to restore. Are you just clicking the "restore" button in iTunes?
