Just making sure … display on iMac Pro will be the same as 2017 27" iMac?

I don't see any reason why it would not be. If Apple intended it to be different - especially in a better way - they would have noted that in the Keynote.

It will (probably) be the same dimensions, and likely will be similar technology, although you may see an 8k display by that time. Remains to be seen (literally) what Apple will actually use in a "money is no object" system, when there are still several months before you get to touch the real release iMac Pro.

screen will be the same, apple would have mentioned any improvements. at most, they might make it more matte, im sure that would be popular with the pros.

You always have to remember that there is that little note near the bottom of any tech specs page
Technical specifications are subject to change.
I think it will still be a 27-inch display, and probably the same specs as announced - - particularly for a system that is not yet available to the public.
But, who knows what Apple might do with a not-yet released model which is a "money is no object" system.

dont agree. they announced a pretty detailed list of specs and a starting price of 5000$. so money is a factor here. dont see how they can add a major improvement like 8k without it significantly increasing the 5k entry price.

im fairly confident any display improvement will be minor (matte option) if there are any.
