Hello,

Eyesight isn't what it used to be.

I know the bar on the bottom is called the Dock.
Not sure what the upper Bar is called. (Menu Bar ?)

But, for the Upper Bar, is there any way to make it bigger ?
Something like the Dock's size, perhaps ?

Thanks,
Bob

In system settings there is a display accessibility setting to change the menu bar to "larger" or something like that (not on an English system, so I don't know the exact wording), so you could try that.
I think it only makes the font bigger, though, and not the actual menu bar. I'm not sure that is actuallly doable.

ny somewhere
you could check out all the visual options in system settings>accessibility, and also consider running your monitor in a different resolution (system settings>displays)....

The menu bar size is "fixed".
There's nothing I know of that will make it significantly "larger".

Only real option for the menu bar is change to a lower resolution. That will enlarge everything -menu bar, dock, apps… but you can then shrink the dock & some other elements to fit the new resolution & your eyesight.

There are also “zoom” type functions available through Accessibility, if you don’t want to make everything bigger.

As FreakinEurekan points out above, there are some potentially helpful options under: System Settings --> Accessibility --> Zoom.

I wonder if turning on "Hover Text" alone might solve your menu bar challenge. If you enable it, simply holding down the command key (⌘) as you pass your pointer over the menu bar items will greatly enlarge them.
