Has anybody heard or knows for a fact whether or not Apple will let developers create widgets for the notification center? I have a great idea but I do not think Apple has created a way for developers to code it in to the notification bar.

There isnt a way to do it apart from notifications, at the moment. I think they will allow dev for it in the future. Bug them at apple.com/feedback , every little helps
