I moved from my old iMac intel to a new Mac mini M1 16gb RAM and I try to move MAMP Pro
I did it before without big issue this time was a nightmare
I copied:
- MAMP and MAMP Pro in Application folder
- system + user /Library/Application Support/appsolute/
After launching MAMP Pro I got an advice for an M1 version, I try to override installation but it would not le me do it
so I could find a fix on stack overflow
but after that server keep turn on and the off every few minute
I try to clean up my database deleting them and probably it happens while mysql was switching on and off and I got an fatal MySQL error and could not start it again after reboot
I have a mysqldump script that export all my DB as a single file, so I took some screenshot of my settings and decide to uninstall ( there is a uninstall feature in MAMP ) and do a clear install
I still occasionally have an issue, I recreate each subdomain and then import MySQL DB and then run the "upgrade" under tools
After each upgrade MySQL can't restart but closing and reopening MAMP fix it
Am I the only one with issue?
