Man how will i ever update without net???

Hi
I have a mac book air. And i am currently traveling.
So i have just 1 USB port. Which i use it to connect to the internet by using a dongle. So i can either have my net connected or my phone.
So i downloaded the update from a direct link. So then i connect my phone. the software after extracting says please connect to the internet.;;; but i can't since ei have only 1 usb

Does that mean i won't be able to update the IOS 5...please help

Not without a hub. You'll have to find a wifi access point for the Air.
