My previous post was closed with a message to post in the iTunes outage thread, but since that outage was resolved 8 hours ago according to Apple's status page and I'm still having problems, I'm reposting.

Going to https://appleid.apple.com and attempting to "Manage your Apple ID" returns an "an unknown error has occurred" after logging in. This happens with all three of the Apple IDs I tried, some with two step authentication enabled and some without it enabled. I've also tried different browsers, different devices and even three different ISPs with the same result.

It is also happening for someone I know and I saw a handful of posts and tweets regarding the issue over the course of the day, but not the number of posts and tweets I would expect if the issue was widespread. I last tried it a few minutes ago and nothing has changed. It's still not working.

I contacted Apple and was simply told to try again later and maybe it would work. With two-step authentication enabled you can't even get support from Apple because they can't make notes on your Apple ID account without the support PIN, which can only be gotten by logging in to Manage your Apple ID.

I am in the same boat. Been having this problem since Wednesday. I need to create an application specific password, and I can't log in to do it.

I also cleared all the cookies in one of my browsers, but that didn't help either...

EDIT: Just found this thread in the Apple Support Forum. No solution, but posting there too may help our situation.

I was able to log in to the Manage Your Apple ID site this morning, so it appears to be fixed.
