i suddenly find myself not able to manually manage my podcasts. any ideas why?

i think so. but im not really sure. i realized it not that long ago, but i just chalked it up to having my phone j.b. but i have since done a complete restore and i still cannot manually add a podcast. music, no problem. but i cannot drag a podcast over to my phone and have it sync.

It could of been a firmware update or another update that I listed above. I am sorry that I can not check to see if I can manually manage podcasts because I am restoring from a failed jailbreak right now. Once I am done I will check and post the appropriate response.

so you were j.b. and now youre going back, huh? how come you are? i just found it to be a little laggy and my battery seemed to drain faster.

I was JB'd on my iPhone 3G running 2.1. I found it a little laggy also but assumed it was because of stinky Winterboard. Once I updated to 2.2, for some reason I didn't try to JB until a few days ago. I am now having all sort of problems and it has failed 3 times (Pwnage Tool 2.2.1, QuickPwn 2.2) on 2 different computers (two macs running 10.5.6). I have nearly given up but have a few more options. I am trying WinPwn on a PC and I am trying QuickPwn and Pwnage Tool on a Mac running 10.4. I am trying that because of the 10.5.6 DFU mode problem. I have a thread in iPhone hacks called "Can't jailbreak 2.2 iPhone 3G!" or something like that. Sorry to get off topic though.

there is a cure for the dfu problem. i found a little app that fixes the code. i will try to find the link for you
