Everytime I send something via Airdrop to my Mac, it gets autoaccepted. How to turn this off, so it will show notification asking to accept or reject transfer?

ny somewhere
not near my 2nd mac, but what if you set your receiving mac to 'allow me to be discovered by no one'... THEN switch that to 'contacts' when you do want a file. altho this seems overly complicated.

Poor execution by Apple. Too easy to get spammed in public. Where is option to add option to

Ask Block or Always from a contact

No entry in Contacts for what permission to grant them. Add “Airdrop” along with others: call, text, FaceTime, email... need AD too.

Not in Control Center to toggle either.

yes, all of them. Why?

AirDrop behaves differently with devices signed into your iCloud (no authorisation) compared to those which aren’t (accept yes/no pop up). There isn’t a way of changing the behaviour. If others have access to these iOS devices, consider if having them signed into one iCloud account is the best idea.
