mapquest navigator removed from app store

yup... i don't see Mapquest Navigator anymore... just the 4 mobile one...
i guess i'm glad I grabbed the navigator one yesterday....

i bet they took down the "free 14 day trial" and they will put up the $3.99 for 30 day trial.....via mapquest site.....

I had a chance to mess with the MotionX Drive today and prefer the interface compared to the MQ or Gmaps East..

I'm hoping it was pulled since it needs to be fixed.
I bought MapQuest Navigator for two of my phones - both 3gs with all the latest updates.
On one phone everything worked perfectly. On the other phone, the text to voice does not work. Even when you try to adjust the volume on the one that doesn't work, the volume meter never pops up like on the one that does work.
The thing that pisses me off is I have sent an email to Mapquest and still have not heard anything back - and now the app is pulled from the store - without an explanation to people that have purchased it.
Luckily I'm only out a $1.05'ish with tax for each so it's not a real loss... The good thing is on the phone that it does work on, it's not too bad. It's not as good as my stand alone Garmin, but for $30 a year and to not have to update maps, it has great potential.
/me hoping that it's just going to get released with the fix.
