Have you looked into Apple Maps? It is pretty good. I use both Apple Maps and Waze for travel.

Yes iv tried Apple Maps but keep going back to google maps it just seems better, ill have a look at Waze also I just wondered if anyone had come across anything better than google maps.

CityMapper is great if it covers your area otherwise I use Apple maps.
