Maps constantly using location

Anyone else noticing Maps using location constantly in the background?

Settings: While Using, No widgets, Improve maps OFF on 13P [17.4.1 v1]

Check if Background App Refresh is enabled for Maps. That could be the cause.

I’ve always had BAR Off. I deleted the Maps app, reinstalled 17.4.1 and then the Maps app and so far haven’t noticed the issue. But will keep an eye on it.
