iPhone Maps Directions Language vs Siri Language?

Hi everyone!

I never understood how, but I used to have the Maps Directions language in French (which makes sense here), and Siri in English (just because it works a whole lot better >_>).

In iOS 13, both are now in English and Maps is driving me (no pun intended) crazy.

Does anyone know where the setting is?!

Phone language is French, always been.

I used to have my region settings in the US before 2019 to have the News app, but now setting it to either Canada or English won't give me back my French Navigation on Maps.

Is it after you’ve upgraded to iOS 13?

Yes, happened right after.
I had Maps in French and Siri in English on my iPhone 5, 6s and XR, never understood how, but it was better.

Try resetting again the language
