iPhone Maps sat nav delay

I seldom use apple maps over google maps and the reason I always end up going back to google is because the sat nav on apple maps always seems to lag a bit behind where I actually am on the road. This has caused me to miss turnings which is beyond annoying.

Id like to give apple maps another shot but ive never heard anyone else complain of this so surely it cant just be me.

Does anyone else have this issue? I am based in uk in that makes any difference.

I think you need to be more clear in describing your issue.

Are you saying that GPS is not showing your proper position on the map in real time? Or that Siri simply does not announce the turns in time?

Either way, if that was an issue, you would probably hear about it ad nauseum on here or in the dedicated Maps post stickied at the top of this forum.

Yes the first one. The GPS position lags behind.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

I'm in the UK and it's always worked fine for me with an iPhone 8 Plus.
