Maps Volume While Streaming?

Is there a setting to increase the voice direction volume in Maps/Google Maps while streaming on Apple Music? When the music loweres for the voice navigation it is very low. Increasing the music volume has not effect on increasing the voice navigation volume?

Any suggestions?

Did you change the navigation voice volume in Google Maps?

Google Maps settings (click the set of 3 horizontal lines near the top left corner, then click the gear), then Navigation. Change the Guidance Volume from Softer to Normal, or Louder.
Not sure what "Mute state" does in those settings, but you could also change that to "Unmuted" to see what that does when you get the navigation voice while playing music.

Apple's Map settings are in the system Settings, where you can also change the navigation voice volume settings.

Thank you. Never thought to look under Navagation for volume. That did it. It was on “soft.”

When I first needed to use Maps in my car, I had the same problem. Helped me at the time (after discovering where the setting was kept). Why can't similar settings be located within the same setting area? (does that even make sense )
