So, I've been working from home since March 13th. From July 13th to August 1st I was on vacation and went every morning to an empty residence some relatives own.

Since then, the Apple Maps widget thinks it's where I work and tells me the time it'll take to get there, even though I haven't been there in 11 days.

If I check my contact info in the Contacts app my work address is correctly configured. I don't know where I could remove this wrong info Apple Maps has.

Any ideas?

Hey reycat . . did you get things resolved?

I know it's been a while since you posted (iOS is up to 18+ now!)

I'm using iOS 18.0.1 on an iPhone13 Mini, and have held the same Work location for the past 13 years.

A few weeks ago I changed employers, and (so) have a new Work address.

Changed it to the new address in my Contact Card the first week, and everything was Good.

Then I updated from iOS 17.7 to 18.0.1 . . .

After that, choosing "Work" in AAPL Maps started taking me back to my old workplace!

I searched-around, and received a lot of almost-there results, but nothing that really made any sense.

The aforementioned link from imore doesn't fully/really apply to iOS18, it seems.

I found that selecting Work > Edit Details > "Refine Location on the Map" (and manually dragging the Location) got everything fully synced.

Not necessarily applicable to your scenario, but I wanted to add my resolution to your post so others in similar circumstance searching for an answer could get a recent hit :)

Regards.
