Hi all. Don’t mind Apple maps and use it as it’s built in. I’d like to explore options here first before getting another app.
Two things that infuriate me though;
  • When you’re trying to visualise things in a paper map you can have pushpins. Here’s the rub, on paper you can have as many as you like. With Maps, only one. Type in a new address and the old one disappears.
  • Secondly, Favourites. I can choose to, ‘’. Can I somehow call up a list, as I know I can’t get Maps to drop pins on them all at the same time?

Have you guys ever heard of any plugins, hacks or scripts that may help?

Nice, thx.

First, try the "File > New Window" Command... It's nifty, no hacks needed. Each Window can host its own properties - view type, location...

As to Favorites - US spelling here, you're limited to Sheets and not a separate window. Click in the Search Field, click on Favorites, and you'll be presented with your saved Favorites and Recent History and Contacts.
Cheers!

Ok cool. The favourites thing works well. Just leaving for work now so I’ll try the other thing later. Thanks though.
