Sure, if you sell it back to them as a refurb. 1 for 1? Doubt it, it's still the machine you bought over a month ago.

There's always something new around the corner. New isn't always better; just ask butterfly keyboard users - at this point the M1 Pro is a known quantity.

Wait and see what gets announced, I hear ya on your frustration but remember the M2 in the MBA is only marginally faster then the M1. Your machine isn't markedly slower, and in all likelihood the M2 will be pricier then the M1. Enjoy what you have :)

They are already here...too bad they are not 3nm...very sad...that means we have to wait now for the 3nm for at least 1 year since i dont see Apple update them in less than 12 months and upset the consumers like they did with the ipad 3
 
Looks good but too bad there's no pickup on a 32GB M2 Pro on store. Might just replace the battery on my M1 Pro and then cash in for the OLED models In 2024/2025.
 
Well this release seems underwhelming , 10% improvement for roughly 10% more money.
