Many sources are claiming Apple will have an event on or around their 30th anniversary, Saturday, April 1st. Apple traditionally sends invitations to the media exactly one week before events, which means that if the event was planned for March 28th, Apple would have sent invitations out today.

Look for invitations (most likely on MacRumors' main page) next Tuesday, and new Apple products the following Tuesday!

The first contradiction to this post has just been posted on the front page of MacRumors. Apprently, UBS doesn't think there will be a 30th Anniversary event.
