So just to quickly follow up on this, it's definitely the Playlist tab that is causing the app to crash.
I tried adding 161,259 Songs to a single Playlist which totals up to 625949 mins. It took a bit longer to calculate it, but no crashes, and no lag while Scrolling. I've already implemented it such a way that it won't block main thread.

So, if large the number of Items isn't the issue, I'd need to check what is.

Can you please do one thing, share the Crash Reports to the Developers?

You can go to Settings > Privacy > Diagnostics & Usage

Set Automatically Send and Turn the Switch on for Share with App Developers.

*If you don't want to keep it on, I'll tell you once I get the Crash Log, and you can turn it off.

**If someone is Wondering that adding 161,259 songs is not Possible and I'm probably Lying, I added Duplicate Tracks to the Playlist Multiple Times. That's how it happened. I actually just have ~3200 Tracks in My iPhone.

If I add such amount of tracks on my phone, I need to buy an iPhone with more than 1TB of storage to keep all of them. :(

LOL, I hope you read the Last Part, those are just Duplicated Songs for the Playlist. Actually I just Have ~3200 - 27GB.
Um, I miss one thing. All of my songs are lossless version. Currently 1245 songs have already occupied over 40 GB. :( so, yes, if I do so (keep 100K songs), I will need 4 TB of storage space to keep Al of them.

We can't have over 25k songs even with iTunes Match, that's going to increase to 100K when iOS 9 Launches.

I'm sad that you haven't been able to use Marvis on iOS 9 Beta, due to iOS bugs, I really feel Beta 3 should improve, coz iOS 8.4 has lesser bugs and don't directly affect Marvis, some even affect Stock Music App, so that's a relief, they'll surely End up Solving those.

Thanks for your care of my situation. :)

I think I should expect software quality from apple in a new way. I shouldn't pay too much hope on it.

Beta 3 is near. Hope something could be changed. Hope. Just hope, although I do believe everyone using this beta software would hope things could go better.

And I hope they Enable Third Party Apps to Use iPad's new Multitasking Features, Developers would require some time to update their Apps. It's time they should allow it.

Although now I cannot use this function, if apple just limits it's functionality, I wonder, what could happen after the final firmware has been released.

I now can hardly believe apple could maintain a good software package. ;)

They probably won't limit to Stock Apps, but maybe only enable it for Apps that have been Updated to support it.

As iOS 9 doesn't include too many new features, I feel (Just like everyone guessed) they'll concentrate on Stability and performance.

Just a reminder that everything is in the cloud. I only have about 20 tracks on the phone.

Also, not sure if it matters, but I've got 28 playlists.

Yes, I remember but Cloud or Local won't be causing the problem, The Calculation of the Time isn't a problem.

You have Share Crashes with App Developer, Enabled?

I'm confused as well. Can you clarify. The Album and Artists tabs show all artists and albums of music on your phone. If it's in a playlist, it's on your phone, so it would show in the tabs.

This thread explains what's going on in Spotify and how they keep playlists and albums seperate.

https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/spotify-users-first-impression-of-apple-music.1897028/page-4

I agree with how spotify is better in regards to keeping playlists separate from the main library. Even when downloading for offline use it keeps separate. Apple music places all of songs in the iCloud music library which over time would become cluttered.

Again, the issue is clutter. Having albums show up with only 1 song just because it's in a playlist isn't user friendly. Maybe nothing the Marvis guy can do since he mention this may be the way Spotify has their database setup. I don't know, but it certainly makes for a cleaner approach.

It's not a topic of open discussion that which one is better, but I guess more people are used to Apple's default way of showing all the albums.

The one you mentioned, sounds nice as well, but I think you want a way to hide a single track album more than you want to hide the items you've already added in the playlists. Correct me if I'm wrong. But that's what I inferred.

I just have to say that this music app is amazing. I forget where or how I found out about it but I haven't looked back since I first got it. I'm still on 8.1 and this thing runs so well I'm extremely happy. I was using picky as my alternative music app (haven't touched the main app since a year I think)
I love all the customizations that are possible, I've configured it to look exactly how I want it to for ease of use.

Thanks for the Amazing words. It's always nice hear appreciation.

More features and customisations coming soon. One I can tell for sure right now is 'Artwork Scale Mode', for non-square Artworks.

That's excellent and thanks for constant updates, it's clearly a labor of love and the app shows it. Like others I can't believe this app is free, going to make use of that donate button on your site.
just another question, maybe I haven't figured it out yet, but on the iphone 6 plus in landscape view is it possible to display an artists list of albums instead of all the songs listed alphabetically?
Thanks again for the amazing app.

Thanks again for the Kind Words and your Amazing Contribution.

I'm really sorry, in Landscape view the Album Grouping is not supported yet. I'm thinking of an Efficient Way to Implement it, I already have the Idea, But I'm working on few other things, so I'll address this one later, not too late though. Sorry Again.

I'll have to try this on my ipad at home that's on 8.4 and see how that compares. As it stands the default music app keeps getting worse and worse as releases go.

It's great on iPad as Well. You'll Enjoy it.

But I should alert you that there are a few Bugs in Apple's APIs in iOS 8.4, which results to some strange results, Like Music Pausing Abruptly (Happens in Stock App as well). There's a rare Crashing Case too, but it's mostly solvable by Restarting. The Crashing will be resolved in the next Update, but the Bug in iOS 8.4 which causes that doesn't let Marvis Infer Playback Queue. I won't explain More, it must be Boring. But I hope you'd understand that only Apple can Resolve those Bugs. I'm so Sorry.

Sorry if this has already been asked, but, where does one submit bug reports? I've got a crash whenever I try to set an artist to shuffle. Same thing will happen when I select an album to shuffle, although, the music will play in this case after crashing. This could be the craziness mentioned with the 8.4 api, but I wouldn't know.

This is on an ipod touch 5th gen, ios 8.4

You can Report Bugs from Support Section in Marvis Settings. But no need now, I've got your Report here.

Thanks a lot for Reporting the Bug.

That's Probably due to some 8.4 change, doesn't happen for me but I think I've already solved it in the Next version. I don't know what specific thing Crashes for you. Most likely it won't crash in Next Version.

I'll submit the v2.2 tomorrow, and it'll be available after a week or so.
