Massive Battery Drain

In all the updates I have had over the years. I have read about the dreaded battery drain, but never experienced it myself until iOS14.

I have an iPhone XS, and with iOS14, I ma having to charge it at least 3x daily. Battery reports everything is fine. Peak Performance reports normal and it is at 87%.

I have tried all the suggestions, turning on off, hard reset etc.

Is it just me, or is iOS14 battery hungry?

I had the same issue doing an OTA upgrade from 13.7 to 14.

I backed up to iCloud, wiped my phone, did a DFU reinstall through iTunes, and then restored from iCloud.

Now all is well! (-:

I considered doing that myself. Will give it a go today.

It turned out it was Always Listening Siri in Accessibility Settings - Siri, which was the big battery drain.

Did you do a reinstall /restore or what did you turn off exactly in settings?

I did, but I also turned off Always Listening option for Siri in Accessibility / Settings.

Thought you were on to something until I noticed mine was already off
