Hey there,

So I am currently working on lets call it a visual media server hardware config, that I am currently running into a unknown (for me at least)

What I am looking to do is to have 4 mac mini's in a remote location each running similar software but all outputting different content. Basically what I am looking to do is to be able to shut down/ startup all 4 computers from a single location some thoughts (these are just thoughts):

1- Have one of the minis set up as as master and slave each of 3 others off of it essentially have a remote desk top that can view all 4 computers

2- have a simple single keystroke marco triggered by another interface (would be awesome) *interface would be a professional lighting system, could be art net or DMX

3- would just pushing the power button on each mack cause it to do a proper shutdown (softly)

4- put a 5th computer in a separate user friendly location that basically has 4 screens in one for each of the computers that have shortcut keys to power on, power off, and reboot

are there any systems out there that would be capable of doing this?

thanks Brian
