I have a huawei Mate 9, but was looking for a pixel xl at the time.

my carrier does not to the pixel.
So was sold on the mate 9 mainly on screen and battery.

the dual Leica cameras are nice giving 20MP images and ok to good low light images.
Very good outside images though.

really nice screen for playing boom beach and youtube.
long lasting battery 2-3 days.

super fast charger, although I just use my old samsung charger so little slower.
the phones original charger will chuck out up to 4.5A!

Uses new USB C but has a C to old micro b adapter in box!
Comes with a case, if a poor one and pre-applied film screen protector.
64GB storage without an SD card!

do we have other owners in here?

Not a owner but always kind of tempted since it was released, as it is a beautiful phone with a 16:9 5,9" display.

it is very nice.

great battery, last longer than my 6s+ and about same size too.

not without it's flaws but excellent phone.

iphone 6s+ has better reception in same place though.
it is marginally faster to open some apps than 6s+ but slower with other apps.

games is slower to open by upto 1.5 seconds (boom beach for example)
But when open drains battery less than on the iphone 6s+

6s+ camera better in low light without flash than the mate9
but mate 9 better outside I find.

It captures my black car in richer colour than the iphone 6s+

but horses for courses sort of thing...

Bought mine in January when I first heard about it. I like EMUI 5. No lag, super fast charge means I don't miss wireless QC.

Small things like it needs BT to stay unlocked, can't just keep it so when on my LAN. Or stay awake when looking, reading?

Impressive US$599. But still am intrigued by Samsung S8+.
