Hey everyone, I was on tour for 5 shows with Matisyahu, tour managing the opening act. I did a ton of photography, and it was my first time using a DSLR.

Camera: Canon Rebel XSi

Let me know what you guys think! I don't do any editing (yet) because I'm just a beginner and still trying to figure out if it's worth to pay for software.

Nice pics..... Its good to see stuff like this as Matisyahu is basically unheard of in the UK, last time I saw a picture of him it was full Jewish clobber.

Exposures look good, are you using it on auto or manual?

Also, can I have a job please :D

You found us then! Like sim667 says, I have no idea who Matisyahu is. Don't forget to post some pictures in the photo of the day thread, and keep an eye out for the weekly competition.

And I'm not sure about the job haha.

For sure man, thanks!

Only constructive criticism I could offer you is to be more selective with your audience inclusion, there's a few shots where you can see that the theatre is pretty empty. You always want your shots to look full to the brim! Keep at it!

It's tough when the theatre has a cap of 1,000-2,000 and only 450 tickets have been bought. But thanks for the critique! :)

Pre-show, scout around for the best lines of sight in each theatre or venue, take into account things like backgrounds, lighting, sound stacks, etc...

If you know the audience are all gonna cram at the front, take shots across them rather than through them to empty seats!
