Matte-Glossy Screen ? (new imac vs old imac)

FWIW, I finally had the chance to visit the Apple Store, in Sacramento, and check out the new iMacs for myself. The glossy screen is not nearly as bad as I'd been led to believe in these and other forums. Given that I was in a store with a lot of overhead lights, I thought they looked great, and I think it would be that much better at home, where I wouldn't have near the lighting challenges. Colors, contrast and performance were all great. Beautiful machines.
When they start shipping with Leopard, I'll be picking up a 2.8 24". They're sweet.
