I just checked out macmall and they have the mattle mbp for 30 less than the glossy version? I wonder if they might drop the price on the glossy version.

im kinda torn on macmall, they have mixed reviews. Some people love them others have horror stories. Right now Amazon only has the matte MBP - 150 rebate. The only place i've found that has the glossy - 150 rebate is macmall 
Matte is cheaper because glossy is more popular and/or they have too many mattes on hand.
I bought from MacMall, and my experience was OK. Price was right, shipping was fast (5 days door-to-door) and rebate checks arrived in 4 weeks.
Customer service? None. That's the only downside.
